The Zeyrek Çinili Hamam, a 16th century Ottoman bathhouse in Istanbul, has been meticulously restored over the course of 12 years. This architectural gem has been transformed into a multifunctional space that serves as a cultural centre and museum while remaining a functioning hamam ( traditional Turkish bath). The minimalist design of the space highlights its historical heritage, showcasing Ottoman architecture, Iznik tiles and Byzantine artefacts through projection mapping displays and interactive installations.
