RECYCLING LATE MODERNISM “A project of restructuring intensifies the strong architectural gesture” - this is the basic idea for the renovation of the late-modern Peugeot headquarters in central Paris. The project offers an exciting 110-metre-long façade to the urban space. But the project with 33,434 square metres GFA achieves more: few simple materials, neutrality of use and the architecture form the sustainability of the building. “Grande Armée - l1ve” also leads to the recycling of the demolition material. 5,615 tonnes of building fabric were removed, and 92 per cent were recycled.
