This revitalized old palazzo in the South of Italy (Nardò, Puglia) marries historical integrity with contemporary design: high star-vaulted ceilings and artfully preserved historical paint, curated bespoke furniture, vintage pieces and a collection of art made on site by emerging Berlin artists. The Apulian autumn lights create an intimate and warm mood for this private holiday home, but the narrow streets of the old town makes it darker in certain corners of the house where a little help for the light was necessary.
