Capturing the raw essence of a village home was crucial to showcase the rich simplicity inherent in rural living. I was privileged to witness the heartwarming moments shared between a grandfather & his playful grandchildren within these walls. Laughter resonated through the corridors, with stories passed down from one generation to the other. The project is almost devoid of embellishments, yet brimming with design sensibilities. Various openings, creating light wells throughout the house, serve as adornments in their own right, allowing the integration of life within the walls across species.
