Blue Table Chocolates was designed by Seth Amman of Arch & Type. The chocolatier showed Mr. Amman molten chocolate which refracts light and appears to be golden from the crystallization. The ceiling therefore became a warm, flowing sculptural piece which flowed from the retail space into the workshop in the back through a glass pane. My goal was to accentuate the golden warmth of the interior by introducing the complimentary color (blue) in the exterior window views. I also eliminated the visual blocks of reflections in the workshop window so as to show the continuity of the flowing ceiling.
