Envisioned as the state-of-the-art track and field, Hayward Field propels athletes onto the world stage. Offering magical views, plazas welcome the global community, anchor the stadium within the urban context, and weave the pedestrian corridor with the reinvented campus open space. A century after the first bleachers, athletes competed on this iconic stage at The World Games celebrating Athletic Championships brought to the USA for the first time.
