This project attempts to reinterpret archi-cultural ruins from a tectonic perspective. Taking a step away from the controversial issues of preservation and restoration that have been made so far, it suggests an alternative way to deal with cultural properties by proposing a new methodology, 'Tectonic reinterpretation'. The diagonal wooden structure supports the inclined ruins of Seoul City Wall. This purely reveals the load of stones is supported by the structure behind, and that is the essence of architecture. Strange scenery of bizarre structure makes us focus on the tectonics of the ruin.
