Embedded into a challenging exposed cliffside overlooking the East China Sea, our proposal integrates a variety of immersive performance spaces for visitors and locals within a larger community cultural center for Wenling, China. The town has a long tradition of festive processions and drumming performances. As the younger populations in Wenling seek opportunities in larger cities, this proposal becomes a living testament to Wenling's heritage's vibrant tapestry and invites residents and visitors to partake in an experience that transcends time and tides.
