AirVeins is a flat-texture inflatable device, that prototypes highly mobile, environmentally responsive future spatial interfaces at true scale, breaking traditional interface concepts. Viewers perceive the conflicting sensation of extreme thinness yet structural strength of the inflated bodies through immersive experiences. The correlation of isometric curve texture inflation alters perception, linking 2D texture to 3D spatial transformations. By alternating inflation and deflation either overall or in different areas, interface deformation is controlled, creating a dynamically changing space.
