In Asian cultures, places designated for remembering ancestors are often categorized by local residents as undesirable facilities. This design aims to change the existing stereotypes by increasing the shared use of remembrance sites with public activities. The site will be embedded into the hillside, allowing it to overlook the cityscape and become a new landmark entrance symbol in Taichung. This project defines different activity spaces for various users across different floors, taking into account memorial, service, and open spaces, to create a unique landscape architecture.
