The concept focuses on repurposing mycelium in landscape architecture, transforming waste into useful materials and landscape elements, and decontaminating soil and landfills. This thesis envisions waste as fuel and mushrooms as drivers, aiming to create a restored, revitalized, healthy landscape. Demonstrations in the study show how mushrooms and mycelium can integrate with organic waste, resulting in innovative applications like floating mycelium pods for water filtration in ponds and mycelium-infused paving for environmentally friendly landscape construction.
