Before COVID-19, face masks were effective against urban air pollution. However, the pandemic led to widespread disposable mask use, causing significant pollution. Masks are made from petroleum-derived non-woven polypropylene, contributing to air pollution during production. Discarded masks often end up in the ocean, disrupting the ecological balance. This design aims to clean city air by recycling mask materials and using air pressure contraction and expansion principles.
