ABGIR(Watercatcher) project presents a proposed plan for the development of Naqasheh village in Qeshm Island based on the water challenges of this island. The idea of the ABGIR project is derived from the BADGIR system (zero energy local cooling system). A ABGIR, like a BADGIR, forms a structure on top of the buildings, which through this structure receives the moisture in the air and collects it for consumption.
