Dambit House is a single-family house located at 365 Dambit-ri, Subuk-myeon, Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do. The design focus was to maximize energy efficiency and to design the house on a low budget according to the client’s needs. As a main design strategy, we sought to secure optimized solar radiation for each season by adjusting the height and angle of the roof facing south. This design principle drives the entire project especially having influence on the form, function, and sustainability ideas.
