The Chase Center has changed the fabric of a section of San Francisco's bay front, once only the province of longshoremen and stevedores, now frequented by sports fans and concert goers. It offers a unique set of lines and curves that accentuate the modernism of the design, but harken back to very basic forms of geometry, with a nod to the fun-house mirror mazes of bygone carnivals.
