The Neviges pilgrimage cathedral or Mariendom (actually the pilgrimage church of Mary, Queen of Peace) is a pilgrimage church in the Velbert district of Neviges in Germany, which was planned by Gottfried Böhm, built from 1966 and consecrated in 1968. St Mary's Cathedral is the second largest church in the Archdiocese of Cologne after Cologne Cathedral. Its brutalist structure is composed of a series of cubes and pyramids of reinforced concrete with steel reinforcements on a cathedral scale.
