This project is a renovation of an old ward to an overnight postpartum care facility, where a mother can stay with her baby to be healed both mentally and physically by the midwife's care, and to adjust to life as a mother. Based on the midwife's belief that "a healing environment is part of postpartum care," we created a healing environment integrated with a healthcare facility, a high quality hotel, and a comfortable home. Moreover, reviving the history of this building, we created an environment where mother and baby can feel nature with all their bodies, such as light, greenery, and water.
