A family of 6 lives under a century-old building of only 72 m². During the remodeling this house process, we continued the old form of the roof and clarified the new architectural style through curved shapes. The curved roof extends from the third-floor garden space to the interior of the house and down to the first floor, dividing and enhancing the permeability of the space. It also preserves the generational memory of this century-old house. The use of handmade bricks instead of traditional tiles retains the rustic Lingnan flavor and ensures convenience and functionality for modern living.
