The greenhouse garden of Nanjing No.1 Middle School, serving as a biology course laboratory, is inspired by the "Tree of Life" concept, composed of six branch-like steel structures representing the six kingdoms of life. Rainwater from the sloping roof is collected through hollow steel columns for indoor plant irrigation, and waste materials are transformed into indoor landscape facilities, reflecting the concept of low-carbon recycling. Students conduct biological experiments here to explore the mysteries of life.
