Field Architecture

Field Architecture is focused on creating architecture that belongs to the land and fosters connection between individuals and the places they love. Each project begins with a reading of the land, a process that we call groundscape. We explore the geography, culture, resources, and history that makes each place unique. We also work to understand the activities and feelings envisioned for each space by the client. By synthesizing the desires of land and people, we work to bring forth the essential identity of the architecture through a combination of form, material, space, and light.
