Global wave-dissipation blocks are mainly made of concrete and cement, which are unsuitable for marine life and contribute to global warming. Cement production also accounts for 8% of global CO2 emissions. “Ecotrapod" focuses on ocean-friendliness and recyclable materials for sustainability. Utilizing Circular Slurry mixed with recycled oyster shells, it performs like cement while reducing carbon emissions by 30-90%. Its high-strength Gyroid structure and biomimetic design make it lighter than regular blocks, support local ecosystems, and add both value and aesthetics for sustainable oceans.
