The Terminal 3B and the Fourth Runway project is the final large-scale expansion of Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport. It is designed to meet the capacity of 80 million annual passengers by 2030. T3B is located 2 km north of T3A, serving as a satellite terminal of T3A. With the capacity of 35 million domestic passengers, T3B is the largest satellite terminal in the world. T3B has an X-shaped configuration and has 71 contact stands. It is connected to T3A through an underground APM. T3B has four levels above ground and two levels underground, with a total GFA of 360,000 square meters.
