“Whom is where we find home we seek.” This project reimagines the Thirteen Villages of Kowloon, highlighting their disappearing histories through architectural deconstruction. As traditional spaces vanish under urban renewal, cultural memory erodes.. This approach critiques urban homogenization and loss of connection, celebrating overlooked details—bricks, grills, rhythms—while preserving fragments as living stories, creating a fragmented yet emotional experience. It invites reflection on memory, place, and belonging, ensuring Kowloon’s narratives remain visible and resonant.
