Occupying a prominent site at the gateway to Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, the project was designed to serve as a distinctive home for a local firm. Two buildings linked by a lobby atrium, the project re-establishes a link between the waterfront and the city, creating a walkable connection between a landscaped central plaza and the adjacent park. Clad in timeless materials, expansive windows frame harbor views, filling the lobby atrium and offices with natural daylight. A series of passive and active strategies reduce the whole-life carbon building, increase resilience, and improve comfort.
