The Paul Van Ostaijen site in Leuven is a vibrant cultural complex for musicians, gymnasts, performers and circus artists. Its flexible design fosters collaboration and supports simultaneous activities while maintaining acoustic privacy. The 1937 monastery building is carefully transformed, preserving heritage elements and adapting spaces, such as a new theatre hall in a former chapel. With shared spaces, low-tech energy solutions, water and CO2 neutrality, the site contributes to Leuven's cultural landscape and serves as a model for sustainable architecture and innovation.
