The 1924 power plant could no longer be fitted with new components and had to be rebuilt. In order to integrate it into the landscape, most of the building was built underground, with only two above-ground parts remaining. A black joint marks the technical areas, while the upper concrete slab imitates water waves. The power plant's three turbines generate 700 GWh annually, supply 200,000 households and make a significant contribution to climate protection, security of supply and grid stability in southern Bavaria.
