The rehabilitation of the former Simon electrical goods factory to house its corporate headquarters is a unique case of rehabilitation, where a traditionally rooted company returns to its abandoned industrial building, transforms it and locates its offices and research and innovation spaces there. A key feature is the intervention on the façades, that aims to highlight the original structure through the incorporation of a new “cassette” type element capable of resolving this interstitial space in an elegant and repetitive way that also meets the high technical and sustainability requirements.
