The Great Hall is an emblematic and unifying space for the College community. This redevelopment project reconciles the multiple objectives of modernizing the College's image, making the circulation spaces more efficient, and ensuring the durability of the new facilities. The institution's identifying features, including its coat of arms, burgundy color, and logo, have been incorporated into the architecture: the arch, which is found in both the logo and the coat of arms, was chosen in terms of material, color, and shape to highlight the central path through the gathering spaces.
