Crafted Ground : Landscape and Tectonic Responses to Flood and Cultural Loss

This project proposes a flood-resilient clay-tectonic community that reconnects water, soil, and culture through modular brick vaults and earth-based landscapes. Inspired by local traditions, the project uses interlocking earthen bricks to minimize material waste, enable reuse, and create inhabitable arches. It also integrates water filtration, agricultural cycles, communal activity, and ceramic production. Crafted Ground envisions a sustainable system of living and learning that regenerates ecological memory while addressing climate challenges.
