BRICKLY turns construction waste into modular dry-plugging bricks. Prefabricated walls in Schottenbauweise, combined with a lightweight steel structure as a passive climate shell, create comfortable, healthy, resilient spaces without additional heating, cooling, or ventilation. Fully disassemblable and scalable, the system uses steel and brick efficiently in a tension-compression hybrid structure, adapting to changing needs. Demonstrated on a resourceful, temporary school extension in Munich, it shows that impactful, circular innovation can be high-performance without high-tech.
