Liquid Light Modulator explores water as a medium to distribute, refract, and amplify light. It investigates how water's transparency and volume visualize light's transformative nature and its interaction with water to create new spatial qualities. Through iterative model-making, findings were applied to a site for architectural testing. Water-filled elements were arranged based on site light conditions, with a movable skin to adjust light and shading. The project uses photography and film to present performative and responsive design, exploring the interplay of light, water, and space.
