The facility is located in the dimensions of the former Muralist building,industrial heritage of Murska Sobota. The new building consists of 2 cubic volumes that are connected in the inner space. The color scheme comes from the corporate identity of the Regional Archives, which is also marked in the print in front of the entrance to the building. The Regional archives building is introverted towards the exterior, but also inviting through access via the newly created entrance platform. It connects with the city with an open urban area.
