Visiting the Muralla Roja Residential Complex by Ricardo Bofill had always been a dream of mine, so finally seeing it in person was an unforgettable experience. Shooting this series of images felt like a personal triumph. However, it came at a price— I spent the next 24 hours sick from a heat stroke after shooting for 10 hours straight under the relentless sun. It was the first time photography pushed me past my limits, which makes these images all the more meaningful to me.
