Surrounded by various mountains, including Mt. Fuji, the new company building is located in an inland area of one of the few basins in Japan, an island country. The building is a reference to the grape trellis cultivation method that has been popular in this region since ancient times. In addition to the large roof that embodies a grape trellis and a building system that utilizes abundant groundwater, the building also uses solar power generation that takes advantage of long sunshine hours to create more energy than it consumes, resulting in a building that generates resources.
