Designed by studioMilou, this renovation transforms Singapore’s former Supreme Court and City Hall buildings into a new museum. The void between them now serves as the entrance lobby, featuring a delicate golden aluminum canopy that seems to float in the wind above the entries. Two atria—one between the buildings and another at City Hall’s north end—are linked by a massive basement corridor featuring tiered seating along the descent. A similar metal façade wraps the large event space built above the Supreme Court, creating a beautiful atmosphere with diffuse natural light.
