The Jinyang Bridge, located in Guangzhou’s Financial City, links the aerial pedestrian system. Spanning 55m with a steel box beam only 0.6m thick, it achieves a slender profile. The design responds to diagonal roads with a symmetric S-shape, featuring lightweight “wing-like” forms. A perforated aluminum facade with hidden lighting creates a dynamic yet low-pollution night view. Widened mid-sections integrate canopies and curved benches for rest, while flowerbeds showcase local flora. Blending function, landscape, and public space, the bridge serves as a new landmark for the city.
