Moita Santa house is set amidst a landscape characterised by the strong presence of oak trees and the occasional presence of piles of stones on the site. The concept of the house was born not only in response to its location, but also to the needs of the clients: to offer privacy from the public road and the need to include a basement. The project also sought to incorporate recognisable aspects of the studio's work. As a result, the Casa da Moita Santa is characterised by the elegance of white throughout the interior and exterior, the striking use of wood and and the occasional stone detail.
