The Chengdu Supercomputing Center transcends the typology of a closed industrial facility. Its centerpiece, the "Silicon Cube"—a 20m crystalline volume housing the supercomputer—is displayed within a transparent glass case, transforming technological infrastructure into an iconic public landmark. An elevated public skybridge stitches the urban fabric, connecting the city to the lakeshore and allowing citizens to engage directly with the monument. This design demystifies high technology, fostering public engagement and integrating the national strategic asset into the city's daily life.
