Nova Mikołowska is a residential complex consisting of two multifamily buildings with ground-floor commercial spaces and a smaller structure added to a historic tenement. The U-shaped and pentagonal layout creates internal courtyards, while the open, unfenced composition seamlessly integrates with the city. Arcades and passageways leading to the courtyards emphasize spatial openness. The project revitalizes a once-neglected district of Katowice, complementing the city's historic fabric and blending the energy of the city center with a welcoming urban space. Photos: Jakub Certowicz
