The site suffers and benefits from all the meteorological conditions of a tropical climate. The equilateral triangle theme is a staging grid for Venturi Effect Architecture. The rectangular volumes overlapping at 60° angles create incidental funnels that direct air through the house’s interstitial spaces. Ceiling fans over the pool lowers the temperature throughout the house. The house is made up of Philippine hardwood varieties salvaged from a dismantled bowling alley and century-old wooden structures repurposed for the house’s floors with minimal intervention so they may be again reused.
