In Harmony with Nature This sustainable, nearly energy self-sufficient house blends seamlessly into the alpine landscape using raw, natural materials. Large sliding windows and wooden sunshades optimize natural light and temperature control. A south-facing loggia with double glazing passively captures solar energy, serving as a heat buffer. Geothermal energy, converted by a heat pump powered by BIPV panels, heats the home. A low-tech stack effect ensures passive ventilation, while eco-friendly cross-laminated timber provides structural strength.
