50 sisters of the Catholic women's order currently live in the motherhouse of the Sisters of the Redeemer in the centre of Würzburg, Germany. But there are fewer and fewer of them. There are no new recruits. What can be done? The result was an opening to the public. The three ‘transformation rooms’, which in their sequence make the themes of farewell, mourning and resurrection tangible as scenographic spatial designs, were particularly interesting for me. The whole area was designed by Impuls-Design from Erlangen, Germany.
