One day, while listening to the waves gently lapping the shore, I thought, "I want to sit as if on the waves." People usually sit on flat surfaces, yet the true comfortable places are not always flat; gentle, organic curves bring both beauty and comfort. The stool, made from bio-based plastics and, like everything in nature, has no front or flat surface, allowing you to sit freely. We sought to create not a substitute for existing chairs, but a new presence that feels as though it belongs to nature itself. In doing so, it presents new possibilities for the very act of sitting.
