As an architectural photographer with a design background, I am often drawn to structures that stimulate the eye, but it is rare to encounter one that engages all the senses in a single immersive experience. The Jewel at Changi in Singapore is such a place. The Rain Vortex, descending through the oculus, fills the space with mist and the rhythm of water, while the glass-and-steel lattice diffuses light. Around it, greenery merges with geometry, dissolving the boundary between architecture and landscape.
