Arbour House by Patkau Architects - Intertwining landscape, light, and family life, Arbour House is a loosely knit fabric of spaces that overlook Cadboro Bay in Victoria, British Columbia. Its rooms share passages, views, and breezes rising off of the sea. The variously scaled spaces are unified by a rhythmic pleated ceiling, syncopated by daylight. This intricate wooden arbour, suspended below arrays of operable skylights, is a singular architectural invention that coheres and activates the whole interior.
