Dezful House, designed by fundamental approach architects, reinterprets the Iranian courtyard house within a dense urban fabric. Hidden behind modest walls, a luminous circular courtyard becomes the home’s heart, organizing spaces around light, greenery, and water. Curved ceilings frame the sky and cast dynamic shadows, while verandas blur boundaries between inside and outside. Natural airflow, enriched by plants and the pool’s humidity, cools the interiors, ensuring comfort in Dezful’s hot climate. The project merges tradition with contemporary form, evoking serenity and continuity.
