An Equatorial Tower by Equator is a simple single tower condominium which responds to increasing density and climate in a new city development in equatorial Kuala Lumpur. Hot, humid, and wet, the equatorial climate is a thick medium in which the architecture co-exists with. In this photography commission, my photography assistant and I worked across a few days. The co-existence between architecture, equatorial weather, and other contexts is made visible, and is the essence of the project and much of my other work in the practice.
