This project rebuilds a Takenaka Scholarship Foundation dormitory. From 1964, students formed communities here. We redefined it as a learning space through connections, creating "Open Space Design for Community," "Nature-Positive Environment," and "Cross-Generational Learning Platform." Our design features a roof connecting rooms, common areas and exterior spaces to surroundings. Utilizing a variety of wood materials according to the characteristics of the place, the building opens to a garden where native plants and wildlife connect students with the environment through ecological systems.
