Hong Kong is a crucible of contrast and contradiction, where East and West meet in restless dialogue. Its glamorous skyline of glass and steel often overshadows the city’s fabric of ordinary, functional buildings, yet it is this very mixture that gives the city its character. Extreme density in scale, height and massing produces a dramatic landscape of tension and beauty. Through this series of photographs, I seek to capture these juxtapositions - revealing a city that was once my home, and remains a place of conflict, contrast and endless inspiration.
