In this series, I wanted to highlight textures on building exteriors. They are often simple elements, like balconies and window frames, but provide engaging lines and shapes for the eye to follow. To do this, I focus on B&W compositions with a vertical orientation. In each of the photos, the eye is guided upwards. Our ascent is marked by brief pauses, revealing surprises along the way.
